WORTHIT THANKS Essential workers

Today we were happy to give a small token of thanks to all the drivers of the Tuscaloosa Transit Authority. These essential men and women committed to working through all the lockdowns and quarantines of the pandemic to ensure that everyone could still safely get wherever they needed and were able to go here in our city. It's often a thankless job, but we wanted to make sure they know that we are most certainly thankful for them.

We assembled and distributed approximately 30 care kits consisting of reusable masks, hand sanitizer pens, and Starbucks gift cards to each of the drivers who were pleasantly surprised and grateful for the thought.

Whenever you see an essential worker of any industry, please don’t forget to thank them. The risks they take on a daily basis are often taken for granted, and a simple THANK YOU could be all it takes to make their day. #WORTHIT
